Little Cat Coffee, a new sister brand to Gotham Coffee Roasters, will launch this week with a fundraising initiative in support of the 23rd annual Broadway Barks adoption event. For two weeks, the profits from all sales will be donated to Broadway Barks and distributed to over 25 animal shelters in the NY area. The star-studded animal adoption event streams on Sunday, May 23rd at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

Little Cat Coffee, which goes live on Thurs, May 20, will operate under the same ownership as Gotham Coffee Roasters. The brand will target the direct to consumer coffee market with a lineup of four flagship coffee blends sold in two pound bags.

The blends focus on popular and familiar flavor profiles, including a breakfast blend and a dark roast, but with a specialty coffee approach to quality, sourcing, & roasting.

Of the coffee program, head roaster & co-founder Andrew Richter said: “We wanted to make something high quality, something we wanted to drink, that was still approachable to customers who haven't been buying specialty coffee. These coffees are for everyone. We want to show that high quality coffee doesn't have to be exclusive or intimidating.”

While not a non-profit, a portion of all Little Cat’s profits will be donated to animal rescue & advocacy groups in the NY area, and after the conclusion of Broadway Barks, there are plans to partner with charities for fundraising events throughout the year.

All sales will be online through their website: www.littlecatcoffee.com
